Visit to a Church in Spain

During a recent trip to Spain, I was in a small village, called Frigliana. In the village is a Roman Catholic Church called the Church of San Antonio de Padua. It is a very traditional church, with plenty of traditional symbolism.

My intention for viewing the inside of the Chapel was to see if there was any similarities between the symbolism used within the church setting and any of the Christian themed tattoos I am seeing on modern believers.

Similarities I found were in line with my expectations and the type of tattoos I have seen to date.
